  The movie capture and device control plug-ins provide integrated capture inside of Premiere, either manually or from a batch list, with complete control of the DV device from the keyboard. Clips captured from a batch list retain their original timecode, allowing you to output an Edit Decision List.

  The playback module plug-in helps you make better edits by providing a full-screen preview through the attached DV device. You can scrub both video and audio to properly evaluate your cuts, transitions, and effects. What's more, the playback module allows you to record to tape directly from the Premiere timeline, saving substantial time and disk space and bypassing the 2GB file size limit. You only need to render the effects, titles, and transitions in your video. Straight cuts play back in real-time.
