HillSouth Sponsors new ScienceSouth Mobile Laboratory
Monday, September 08, 2008
Today, ScienceSouth announces that the regional information technology consulting firm HillSouth has sponsored ScienceSouth's newest innovative mobile laboratory/classroom. This vehicle continues ScienceSouth's tradition of providing innovative hands-on learning experiences across the region.
ScienceSouth's first mobile laboratory has been used all over South Carolina for delivering on-site hands-on learning experiences to the thousands of people since it was put into service in 2002. The newest mobile lab was custom built to serve the needs of the expanding demand for ScienceSouth's programming. Having two mobile labs allows ScienceSouth to travel to more schools and deliver more programming than was possible with one lab.
HillSouth joins other sponsors of ScienceSouth including: McLeod Health, Roche Carolina, Wachovia Foundation, MetLife Foundation, and many others in being a partner in the exciting work that ScienceSouth has delivered to the community at large.
